Vaalies in Cape Town - Mark

The Mother City is crawling with Vaalies! Everywhere you look, there are Gautengalenger number plates. My new barometer toy has peaked at either 41 or 42 for the last 6 days (maybe its broke?) Yussie but its lekker to be in Cape Town in Dec compared to wet and freezing Mud Island!

The Cape Town Wellsies are all on leave from Friday 19th December and we can't wait. The pool is up to 30 degrees, the sea is still freezing, but lekker to look at, and the little pink monster is finally getting some colour in her lily-white skin.

Christmas is at our house this year - first the Deetlefses (all 30 or so of them) on the 24th, and then the Wellses on the 25th. Lekker.

So - from all the CT Wellsies, lots of love to all for the holidays and have a great Christmas with LOADS of pressies.
PS: Driving past Blouberg beach the other day, I lost count at 200 kites attached to adrenaline-pumped surfers on the beachfront. Move over Ballito, Cape Town has proper wind!
